Mobile App and Web Developer Job

We are seeking a mobile app and web developer to join our team. This role would suit an experienced person or exceptional graduate. This is a remote working role, with occasionally face-to-face meetings and requires somebody located in East Anglia who can travel to Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop high quality C# back-end code for mobile apps and web-based systems
  • Assist with front-end code for web-based admin portals
  • Performing reviews and testing of other developers’ code

Other Responsibilities

  • Assistance with front-end website builds and amends
  • Assist with the handling of website queries and monitoring alerts – diagnosis and resolution

Necessary Skills

  • Solid ability to produce high quality and robust C# code
  • Front-end coding skills (e.g. Angular or another similar framework)
  • Mobile app development experience
  • Basic HTML/CSS build skills
  • Knowledge of design fundamentals and UX
  • Skilled in utilising Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Working knowledge of Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel & Teams)
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently

  • Experience of using Xamarin
  • Experience of test-driven development & unit testing
  • Experience of source control systems
  • Experience of Microsoft Azure
  • WordPress experience
  • Previous experience of remote working
